I joined the Department of Biology at Trent University in August 2021. My research interests include age-associated changes in immune cell function and the downstream consequences on skeletal and cardiac muscle homeostasis and repair.

I received by PhD from York University (2016) and my BSc from Western University (2010). From 2016-2021 I worked as a post-doctoral fellow in regenerative medicine at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute in the laboratory of Dr. Ren-Ke Li. In 2019 I was awarded a fellowship from the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research.
